Yesterday, I had the opportunity to attend the Africa Technology Expo (ATE) at Landmark Event Center, Lagos. I attended this event to meet new people and explore the current state of startups in Nigeria's "Silicon Valley."

One of the most exciting parts of the day was the showcase of startups with different areas of focus. I visited stands from startups like Kora, LoubbyAI, Laddar, and many others. I was particularly impressed by Vegeel, which is revolutionizing cybersecurity and compliance management in Nigeria.

My best experience was connecting with new people. I met designers, developers, CEOs, and even a lawyer 😅. It was my first time connecting with that many people at once.

The event highlighted the significant strides Nigerian startups are making, despite the challenges. It reinforced my belief that Lagos is indeed Africa's tech hub, and I’m eager to see how these startups will scale in the coming years.

Attending ATE was both inspiring and enlightening. If you’re interested in the future of African tech, I highly recommend keeping an eye on these emerging companies. What are your thoughts on Nigeria’s growing tech scene?
